A kind person over at the rootsweb Bronx board found the information for me. The information I was given did not include the name of a funeral home. Please see below. Death Certificate #10038: Joseph Rosario Robillard, born Dec 22 1894 in Lowell, MA res. Grosvenor Dale, Windham Co., CT; occ. loom fixer Died at Veterans Administration Hospital, The Bronx, Oct. 18, 1945. He served in WW1. Father= Arthur, born Canada Mother= Philomena Foucher, born Canada. Wife= Noella SS# 038-07-4123 cause of death= tumor of urinary bladder, recurrent, with hypertrophy of prostate. Buried in Putnam, CT. Michelle : )

This information typically includes the name of the funeral home and the name of the person who provided the information for the death certificate. The name of the informant often gives a clue as to how accurate the family information might be. It might be worth requesting an actual photocopy of the certificate. Bruce
