BROWNLEE Houma, Louisiana Article published Jan 29, 2008 Jan 29, 2008 Deal Frank Dempster, 91, a native of Vacherie and resident of Chackbay, died at 6:50 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by two sons, A.J. Dempster and Ray Dempster; five daughters, Rose Becnel, Dolores Diaz, Diane Dempster, Elena Rink and Judy Henry; one sister, Inez Falgoust; 24 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Simoneaux Dempster; his parents, Gustave Dempster and Mosela Boutte Dempster; one son, Julius Dempster; two brothers, Dieudonne Dempster and Guy Dempster; three sisters, Florence Cortez, Epheie Babin and Mable Molaison; and one grandson, Jonathan Rink. Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
