Thank you very much for the benefit of your experience. I'm not sure what I'll do, but will choose carefully. There were issues raised that I hadn't considered. The only reason I pursued this is that while going through family pictures with my mother, I was struck that after she was gone we could discard most of them as unknown unless someone made some sort of effort.
