One of the big improvements in WIN 7 is that if you have a software clash, it asks if you want to run the programme as for WIN XP. I was having a lot of trouble with Vista and software such as Word Perfect (wouldn't print), and some games wouldn't run at all. Since switching to WIN 7, I've had no problems at all - if it doesn't offer to run the programme as for XP, there's a menu item for software compatitbility (I THINK under Control Panel - my WIN 7 machine is at home), which is what you need. Everything I ran under XP now works fine, without me having to modify anything. Lesley Robertson
