Good idea. Name at time of death: Elsie Wise Maiden name Elsie Janstrom. Was also Elsie Taylor from 1943 to 1950. Her first husband, George Taylor died in 1948. She was born 8/29/1921 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario , Canada. She died 12/28/1992 in Brighton, Michigan. Her family was originally from Finland and her birth name was Elsa Sanelma Janstrom. However I never heard her called anything other than Elsie. She was my mother's sister.

When did she come to the US? Did she always live in Michigan? Did she ever work? Who was Mr. Wise and when did he die? Did she received any SS benefits from her husbands? In another post you mentioned you were given what was supposed to be her SS# what was that number? I suspect at this point either she never had a Social Security number or if she did her death was not reported to Social Security.
