Hi List, I am trying to find the birthplace of Samuel McDonald and the names of his parents. Samuel was born in South Carolina. He bought government land in north Sumpter County in the 1830s. I find William McDaniel, Adam McCain, and James Parkerin the same area who bought government land at about the same time. They all come from South Carolina. My theory is that they came to Alabama together and probably from the same part of South Carolina. I would like to hear from anyone researching any of these lines. Al Willard
