In answer to Gail McMahon's query regarding the MCMAHON FAMILY in Livingston, I have the following information for her: ELMIRA (ELLA) REA (b. 1851 in Marion, Ms.), a daughter of my great grand-father, CONSTANTINE REA of Lauderdale County, Ms., was married to JOHN MCMAHON of Sumpter County, and lived in Gainesville. There were two sons, ROBERT & JOHN, (who married ALMA BILBRO) Their grandparents were ROBERT S. MCMAHON and ELIZABETH R. C. SCOTT. also of Sumpter County. Additionally, ELLA REA'S sister, ELIZA (JENNIE) and her husband, THOMAS GOODLOE, lived in Wildwood, Sumpter, where she died in 1898.
