It would be easier for me to send you the material than try to explain how Capt. Jesse B. Thorne fits in with the rest of the Thornes!! The truth is that I don't know!! All of the Thornes listed on the 1850 Sumter Co., census were in Mississippi, Louisiana, or Texas by 1860 with the exception of Jesse B.
