Anita, Let me muddy the waters a little more. I have Susan Woodard who married Moses (Aaron Moses) Dansby and is found on the 1860 census in Neshoba co. Ms. these are my gg grand parents. I am not positive at this time who Susan's parents are. Susan was born @ 1829-1830 in Al.However Moses is found in 1850 with a Rebecca born about the same time. We are confused as to whether Rebcca and Susan are the same. I have been told that John Woodward and Rebecca found in 1880 Newton C. may be her parents. I have a cousin that verifies from his mother that we are indeed kin to Woodard. I think it has been pronounced both ways but may be one and the same name. Have you found a Susan in your research?Susan and Moses had a daughter Alice born in 1857 and she is my great grand mother. She married John H. Henley in Neshoba Co.
