Thea this may not be of any help but an aunt of mine is married to a Hibler/Hibler? I always heard he was just about full Cherokee. We have Indian blood in us too but I seem to be the only one in the family who was interested in it except for "family" with whom we think we're related but haven't been able to connect due to lack of names/brick walls-plenty of them. We're of Scotch/Irish/Welsh and some English I think descent and my mother's people German American Pioneers-everybody came to Texas but can't find a grgrgrfa who went back to Ala. from Miss. That's my Green Riddle. We had ancestors Ala. Sumter Co. -McCown/Greene-another stumbling block-wherever I find brick walls I find the Indian blood. frances ----- Original Message ----- From: "Thea Burress" <tburress@libertyfund.org> To: <ALSUMTER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, October 10, 2000 4:29 PM Subject: [ALSUMTER] Hibbler/Johnson > I am looking for information on my ancestors and relatives.
