Listers, Has anyone ever heard of "The Cook Place". Just received information that my gggrandfather Melvin NEWTON married Mary BOSTICK on 14 Feb 1884 at "The Cook Place". Since the marriage certificate was found in Sumter County Courthouse, I am going to assume that it is in Sumter County. Any ideas? Thea
