CAHOON NELSON SHROUT McELROY Joseph Alexander Cahoon his son David Cahoon b. 23 Nov 1810 in North Carolina but died 10 Nov. 1883 in Ward, AL David's wife: Abigal (Abbie) Nelson married David in Sumter County on 10 Sept. 1837 Their child in my line Thomas Wallace Cahoon born 18 May 1856 Ward, AL Died 22 Jan 1936, Thomas married Meanthia Matilta _____ on 10 Feb 1887 She was born 7 April 1860 an died 2 February 1955 He mother was a McElroy but I have no info on that. Their daughter Lela Leora Cahoon born 18 Sept. 1893 in Ward died 4 June 1976 Married William Clay Shrout Their son William Clay Shrout Jr. born 24 March 1913 in Ward (my father) Any help would be appreciated.
