Hi Patty, I have Drummonds through marriage to my Swilley family. Mary Alice Drummond, daughter of Henley Drummond, married John W. Swilley. After he died, married his younger brother. She was born around 1830. Do you have anything on your line? Anita, Let me muddy the waters a little more. I have Susan Woodard who married Moses (Aaron Moses) Dansby and is found on the 1860 census in Neshoba co. Ms. these are my gg grand parents. I am not positive at this time who Susan's parents are. Susan was born @ 1829-1830 in Al.However Moses is found in 1850 with a Rebecca born about the same time. We are confused as to whether Rebcca and Susan are the same. I have been told that John Woodward and Rebecca found in 1880 Newton C. may be her parents. I have a cousin that verifies from his mother that we are indeed kin to Woodard. I think it has been pronounced both ways but may be one and the same name. Have you found a Susan in your research?Susan and Moses had a daughter Alice born in 1857 and she is my great grand mother. She married John H. Henley in Neshoba Co.
