    3. Hello I will be making a journey to St Clair Co. at the end of April. Are most records from early 1900's located in the Library or Courthouse? Also are the newspapers from 1890-1910 available on microfilm? Thanks Randi Rountree Mathieu

    3. Most marriage records are on the computer in the heritage room in the courthouse in Ashville. The room also has a wide variety of books and other records. The people in there can assist you with searches. Joe Whitten has compiled most of the birth, marriage, and death notices from local papers from the time period you mention into books that are also available in the courthouse.
