This obituary was in the St. Clair Times, St. Clair Co., AL., Thursday, Nov. 23, 2006. James Leo Hudgins Argo-James Leo Hudgins, age 78, went to be with his Lord and Savior Nov. 14, 2006. He was born March 20, 1928. James was a loving and caring husband and father. He always put his family first. He will be greatly missed. Funeral services were held Thursday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. Burial followed in Red Hill Cemetery. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty; daughter, Linda (Tim) Palmer of Boaz; son, James Thomas "Shorty" (Debbie) Hudgins of Ashville, daughter, Brenda (Shane) Castelberry of Springville; daughter, Lisa (Brad) Hammock of Springville; son, Garon (Michelle) McRoberts of Ashville; 10 granchildren and seven great grandchildren; dear friend, Sara Frost; and a host of nieces and nephews; and his beloved pet, Taz. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hanie Louise Hudgins; son; son, Jimmy Hudgins; and a daughter, Martha Lou Hudgins. Pallbearers were Michael Castleberry, Mah Wilson, Steven Carroll, Don Sylestine, Norman Wood, and J.B. Helms. Honorary pallbearers included Shane Castleberry, Tim Palmer and Johnny Masters. We all love him so much and we know we will see him again one day in heaven. Ridout's Trussville Chapel directed the services.
