Curtis Smith Isbell Jr., Trussville--Funeral service for Curtis Smith Isbell Jr., 74, was Saturday, Nov. 25, at 2 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds. Burial was in Sulphur Springs Cemetery in Trussville. Mr. Isbell died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nell Newton Isbell. He is survived by his son, John Aubrey Isbell (Karen); daughters, Mary Ann Whatley (Steve) and Susan Johnes (Darrell); brother, Harold Isbell; sister, Margaret Lee; grandchildren, Shane Whatley, Kyle Isbell, Natalie Morris, Olivia Jones; and great grandchildren, Easton Cy Whatley and Sawyer Tys Whatley. Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds directed the service.
