This obituary was in the St. Clair Times, St. Clair Co., AL., Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006. Joe S. Adams, Jr. Springville--Funeral services for Joe S. Adams Jr., 71, formerly of Pell City, were Saturday, Oct. 28, at 2 p.m. at Kilgroe Chapel with Bro. Davis Wallace officiating. Interment was in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Mr. Adams died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dora Mae Campbell; and his parents, Joe S. Adams Sr. and Clara Mae Scott Adams. He is survived by his wife, Barbara E. Adams; three sons, Marcus Raye Adams, Danny Joe (Lisa) Adams, and Robert Earl (Paula) Adams; two daughters, Juanita Carolyn (William) Rowell and Mona Lisa (Juan) Torres; brother, Frank (Faye) Adams; sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Cain; 12 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City directed the services.
