Mae Crumpton Cropwell Funeral services for Mrs. Mae Crumpton, 72, were Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel with the Rev. William Rayfield officiating. Burial was in Greenhill Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Crumpton passed away Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, at Trinity Medical Center. She is survived by her husband, Gene Crumpton of Cropwell; three daughters, Teresa McCall of Wilsonville, Lynn Bertovic of Birmingham, Tonie McCall of Sylacauga; son, Geno Crumpton of Bessemer; nine grandchildren and six great granchildren; two sisters, Cris Howard of Tempe, AZ and Sara Harbin of Durham, NC: and brother, J.P. Northcutt of Alabaster. Pallbearers were Lucky Northcutt, Roger Northcutt, Mark Northcutt, Terry Riddle, and Randy Foster. Curtis and Son Funeral Home Childersburg Chapel directed the services.
