This obituary was in the St. Clair Times, St. Clair Co., AL., Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006. Mildred Coker McCullough Gadsden--Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, at Crestwood Funeral Home for Mildred Coker McCullough, 98, who died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006. Dr. Belon Friday officiated. Burial was at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home was in charge. Mildred graduated from Alverson Business College. She retired from Farmers and Merchants Bank of Ashville after working many years. Mrs. McCullough was a member of The Ashville Garden Club. She was also a member of The Ashville Methodist Church and the Evergreen Methodist Church. She was a very special loving aunt and was greatly loved by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit McCullough; her brothers, George Coker and John Coker; and her nephews, John Franklin Coker and Martin Coker. She is survived by her nephew, George David (Peggy) Coker; nieces, Edie Coker, Marie (Paul) Manning; great niece, Leann Coker (Jason) Walker; great nephews, Josh Coker, Dave (Shannon) Coker, James (Robin) Coker, John (Heather) Coker; four great-great nephews; brother-in-law, Sanford (Maxie) McCullough. Pallbearers were her nephews.
