    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/YS.2ADE/633.1 Message Board Post: More info............... My verified line goes like this.......... James Henry McCoy (my gg- grandfather) was born in 1868 possibly in St Clair, but wound up in Cleveland, Blount county. He first married Mary A ???? around 1889 and had the following children there: Theresa Belle, Henry Boyd(my g - grandfather), Thomas Jefferson, Bertha, Clara, John, and Lillie Myrtle. I believe the last 2 died very young. James Henry married a second time to Etta Davis and had 4 more children: Ernest, Agnes, Mary, and James (Jim). James henry died in Cleveland in 1929 and is buried in the Cleveland Methodist Cemetery. Thomas J, Bertha, and Clara remained in Blount county until they died. My g-grandfather, Henry Boyd, moved back to Ragland when he grew up and married Hattie Campbell. They are both buried in the cemetery in Ragland next to the cement plant. They had the following children starting in 1914: Eugenia, Homard, Ruby, Helen(my grandmother), Stella, JC, Lera, and Margaret. James Henry McCoys death certificate says his father was John McCoy, born in Alabama, but no county or anything on who his mother was. Some of the older living relatives do believe he was from St Clair originally......and a family story says the he killed a man there and fled down the Coosa river never to be seen again. He is where I have hit the wall. There are several McCoys from the mid 1800's there but I don't know for sure if they are really my line.....some of the first names are: Truehart, Burden, John, John C, John L, and David. Thanks
