This obituary was taken from the St. Clair Times, St. Clair Co., AL Thursday August 3. 2006 Robert Allen Smith, Jr. Pell City--Funeral services for Robert Allen Smith, Jr.,73 were Tuesday, August 1 at Kilgroe Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Rutledge officiating. Burial will be in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX. Mr. Smith died July 29. He was retired USAF. He is preceded in death by son, David Smith, one granddaughter Melissa Smith, one sister, and his first wife Claire Smith. He is survived by wife, Emily L. Smith, daughters, Karen L. Smith, Debra Harkis, sosn, Robert Smith, and Michael Smith; and 7 grand children. Kilgroe Funeral Home directed the service.
