William Henry Hollis Huntsville-- Funeral service for William Henry Hollis, 74, formerly of Leeds was Saturday, Aug. 12, @ 3 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home. Burial was in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Mr. Hollis died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006. He ministered at several local churches over a period of several years. Brother Hollis was a member of Trinity Church of God of Prophecy in Moody. He retired from Dr. Pepper Corporation. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was also employed by Lumber Jack Meats in Leeds for several yrs. He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Howard Hollis. He is survived by daughter Deena St. Clair (Scotty); son, Mike Hollis (Susan); brother Billy Wayne Hollis Sr.; sisters, Frances Jeanette Reszel and Virginia Sue Thompson, 5 grandchildren, Michael, Miranda, Matthew, Beth and Emily; one great granddaughter McKinzie. "He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed by all." Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds directed the service.
