This obituary was taken from the St. Clair Times, Thursday August 17, 2006. Margret Mecke Odenville--Margret Mecke, 59, died Aug. 8, 2006. A caring wife and mother, she devoted her time and energy in helping others. Margret is survived by her husband, Peter Otto Mecke; two daughters, Alexis Kristin (Derek) Walrond and Bettina (Joe) Foster; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Kristin Walrond and Steven Bradley Foster. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, Aug. 18, at 7 p.m. at the Destiny Life Church in Springville. Memorials may be made to Destiny Life Church. Ridout Trussville Chapel will direct the service.
