This obituary was taken from the St. Clair News-Aegis, Thursday August 10, 2006. George T. Densmore, Jr. Funeral services for George T. Densmore, Jr., 75, of Ashville were held Monday, August 7, 2006 at Kilgroe Chapel in Pell CIty with Porter Burttram officiating. Interment was in Pine Grove Cemetery in Ashville, Alabama. Mr. Densmore, Jr. passed away Saturday, August 5, 2006. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rose Mary Densmore; three granddaughters, Mariah Lynn Densmore, Charolenna Kay Densmore and Rhonda Kay Martin and two gransons, Jeramiah Earl Roberson & William Lesley. Mr. Densmore, Jr. is survived by his daughters, Susan (Jerry) Lively, Rosy (Dennis) Reed, Loretta (Carl) Strickland, Veronda (Jackie) Vaughn, and Tracy (Don) Brooks; sons, Doughlas (Cheryl) Densmore and Larry (Marissa) Densmore; sister, Judy Whitlock; 20 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Mr. Densmore, Jr. worked for the State Highway Department for 35 yrs. Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City directed.
