Martin, 44, was Sunday, June 20, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Harold Adcock officiating. Burial was at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Ms. Martin died July 27, 2006. She was a member of Lookout Mt. Baptist Church. She is survived by her mother, Ruby Nell Edwards, friend R.C. Bates; stepdad, Sie Varden; chosen father, Daddy Ervin; brother Jimmy R. Dennis; sister, Cheryl Robinson; aunts Gerri Pairrett, Lois Martin, and Terrie Dottson; special friends Tom & Dottie Roller. Pallbearers were Donnie Scarber Sr., Donnie S. Scarber Jr., Chris Scarber, Michael Cash, James Patterson and Jimmy Dennis. Village Chapel Funeral Home and Cremation Services were in charge of arrangements.
