This obituary was taken from the St. Clair Times, Thursday August 17, 2006. Ruby E. Pearson Pell City--Funeral Service for Ruby E. Pearson, 81, was Friday, Aug. 11, at 11 a.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home with burial in Mr. Pisgah Cemetery in Cropwell. Mrs. Pearson died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2006. Mrs. Pearson was preceded in death by a daughter, Rachel Lynn Moncrief. She is survived by sons, James Pearson (Dorothy) and Elijah Pearson (Janice); daughters, Gloria Self (Walter) and Mary Ferguson (Mike); brother Ed T. Bowers; 16 grandchildren and a host of great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Keith Pearson, Mark Pearson, Pac-Man Todd, Scott Pardue, Steven Pardue, Roger Ferguson, Kenneth Skelton, and Justin Washington. Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds directed the service.
