This obituary was taken from the St. Clair Times, St. Clair Co., AL Thursday July 27, 2006 Dwight Allen (picture in paper) Pell City--Funeral services for Dwight Allen, 53, were Friday, July 21, at 12 p.m. at First Baptitst Chruch South with the Rev. R. L. Orr and District Elder Raymond Allen Jr. officiating. Burial was in Greenfield Cemetery. Mr. Allen died Sunday, July 16, at St. Clair Regional Hospital. He was a member of Rocky Zion Baptist Chruch; was a 1971 graduate of Pell City High School; was a carpenter. He is survived by daughter, Aisha Embry of Anniston, sisters, Josephine Watson of Omaha, NE, Videssa Woods of Atlanta, GA, Barbara Smith of Ellenwood, GA and Carolyn Chapman of Fairburn, GA; brother, David Allen of Stone Mountain, GA, Tommie Allen of Locust Grove, GA and Donald Allen of Pell City, and one greandchile. Terry's Metropoliatan Mortuary directed the services.
