Douglas Albert Triplett Jr. Moody--Funeral service for Douglas Albert Triplett Jr., 63, were Sunday, June 25, at 2 p.m. at Kilgroe Chapel with the Rev. Billy Abrams officiating. Burial followed in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Mr. Triplett died Thursday, June 23. He is survived by his wife Vivian Harmon Triplett, step-sons Carson (Mary Ellen) Butterworth & Alan (Sarah) Butterworth; two daughters Mary Lee (Bob) Elliot and Sandra Ann (Kenneth) Underwood; his mother Katherine Wood; stepmother Juanita Triplett, sister Carolyn and 7 grandchildren, Chanse Sturza, Mellisa Owens, Nicole Owens, Kyle Elliot, Zac Butterworth, Maggie Butterworth and Harrison Butterworth. Mr. Triplett was preceded in death by his father Douglas Albert Triplett Sr., one brother and one sister (names were not listed). Kilgroe Funeral Home directed the services.
