Pell City--Funeral service for Larkin Porter DeShazer, 83, was Monday, June 26, @ 11 a.am. at Kilgroe Funeral Home with the Revs. Mark Parris and Sherri Reynolds officiating. Burial followed in Valley Hill Memorial Cemetery. Mr. DeShazer died Friday, June 23. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Charlene S. DeShazer; daughter Susan L. DeShazer, son Robert L. DeShazer, sister Helen Cloutier; and grandchildren Nedia C. Matthews and Claire DeShazer. Kilgroe Funeral Home directed the service.
