Pell City- Funeral services for Eva Peden Morrow, 86, were Tuesday, June 27, at 2 p.m. at Eden Westside Baptist Church with Bro. Bill Ayres and Bro. Jackie Connell officiating. Interment was in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Mrs Morrow died Saturday June 24, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Albert Morrow, her daughter, Thalia Jo Thackerson, her parents Joe and Minnie Peden; and her brother Clark Peden. She was born in Red Bay, AL on Dec. 30, 1919. She married W.A. Morrow on Aug. 27, 1938. She and her husband moved to Pell City in the 1939. She had a beauty shop in Pell City for 33 yrs. She worked for her daughter at "A Family Affair" for the last 10 yrs, until April 5, 2006. She was a faithful member of Eden Westside Baptist Chruch since 1951. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by daughter Judy M. Champion; two sons Larry "Pete" (Sherry) Morrow and Jerry (Helen) Morrow; sister Betty Jo (Swede) Gullickson; six grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Tommy Brock, Quentin Crowe, Josh Morrow, Greg Gossett, Joel Masters, Gregg Morrow and Marty Cole. Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell CIty directed the services.
