The family moved from Georgia to Alabama before ending up in Texas. | | Son James E born 1849 in Georgia, married Margaret Copeland 1880 in Williamson Co, Tx. They had 5 boys: William Newton, James Andrew, Rufus Arthur; Wilford Carol & Ollie Ondus. They went to North Texas to pick up other family members (Margaret died here) before heading for Oklahoma, ending up in Washita County, OK where James E died | | Daughter Bethilda married John Dedmon - she was born 1853 near Atlanta, GA, they lived in North Texas before they moved to Elk City, OK where she & her husband died. | | One of the other girls married a Mr Brown.
