Jessie Williamson Armstrong Pell City--Funeral Sevices for Jessie Williamson Armstrong, 97, were Monday, Sept. 4, at 11 a.m. at Kilgroe Chapel with the Rev. Sherry Reynolds officiating. Interment was in Valley Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Armstrong died Friday, Sept. 1, 2006. She was preceded in death by her parents Elsie and Jessie Collins Williamson; her husband, O.H. "Jack" Armstrong; brothers, Harry, Gordon, Martin, and Hugh Williamson. She is survived by her nephew, Gaston (Cynthia Wilder) Williamson; great-niece, Meg Williamson; great nephews, Collins Williamson, Jackson Williamson, and many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; sisters Margaret Scott of Pasadena, TX, and Mary Belle Cram of El Paso, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pell City Library Guild, Inc. Foundation, P.O Box 1572, Pell City, Al 25125. Kigroe Funeral Home in Pell City directed the services.
