"Ben" Isbell, 79, was Thursday, Aug. 31, at 2 p.m. at Usrey Chapel with the Rev. Ray Speakman and the Rev. Burnett Hughes officiating Burial was in St. Clair Memorial Gardens. Mr. Isbell died Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2006. He is survived by his wife Jo Isbell; step-daughters Sara Phillips (Haskell), Janice Crews (Robert), Frances Isbell (Joey), and Deborah Forsyth (Wayne); step-son Steve Sweatt, brothers, JW Isbell, Fred Isbell, Ray Isbell, Troy Isbell, Roy Isbell and Roger Isbell; sisters Velma Weis Louene Thomason, Mattie Pearl Clements, Virginia McGowen, Dorothy Ramsey; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City directed the service.
