Ellie Hawkins Ragland--Graveside service for Ellie Hawkins, 62, was Saturday, Aug. 26, at 11 a.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Lowell Douglas and the Rev. Doug Ford officiating. Mrs. Hawkins died Wednesday, Aug. 24, in Ragland. She is survived by her husband, David Hawkins; daughters, Shelia Peoples and Michelle Burmer; 11 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Todd Echols, Josh Echols, Randal Bice, Trent Bice, Dewayne Gann and Tony Gann. Usrey Funeral Home is Pell City directed the service.
