Thelma Fulmer Daffron Talladega--Funeral services for Mrs. Thelma Fulmer Daffron, age 88, will be Wednesday, Dec. 20, at 11 a.m. from the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. R. Emmett Payne, Rev. Granville Gauldin, Rev. Chet Roden and the Rev. Robert Hurst officiating. Burial will follow from the Rock Church Cemetery. Mrs. Daffron passed away Dec. 18, at her home surrounded by her family. Survivors are two daughters, JoAnn Gauldin and her husband Franklin of Talladega and Carolyn Daffron of Talladega; one brother George Fulmer of North Charleston, SC: four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Clifton Daffron; parents Claude and Josie Fulmer; three brothers and three sisters. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Lakeside Hospice, P.O Box 544, Pell City, Al 35125. Active pallbearers are George Fulmer, Craig Mullins, Franklin Gauldin, Chris Kreidel, Barry Cordes, and Gene Boykin. Honorary pallbearer is Eric Wright. Mrs. Daffron was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Southside Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the services.
