Bishop US Army Retired, will be held at Usrey Funeral Home, 21271 US Highway 231 North, Pell City, AL on Friday, October 13, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Shoal Creek Valley in Ashville Alabama. Chaplain (Major General) David Hicks, Chief of Army Chaplains, will be the speaker. Full military honors will be given. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m., Thursday, October 12, 2006 at the funeral home. He is survived by his mother, Josie Nelson; step dad W.C. Nelson; by his wife, two children, six grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City will direct.
