George Harold Beason, Sr Pell City--Funeral Service for George Harold Beason Sr., 78, was Monday, Sept. 25, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City, with the Rev. Grant Purdy officiating. Burial followed in Valley Hill Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Beason died Saturday, Sept. 23. He was a pipe fitter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Jo Grant Beason and daughter, Deborah Jo Beason. Survivors include daughters, Rhonda (Jim) Purdy and Regina Beason Tudisco; sons Gregory Harold (Penny) Beason and George Harold (Allison) Beason Jr.; 11 grandchildren, James Robert Purdy Jr., Lindsy Jo Ann Sullivan, Haley Sullivan Williams, Savannah Lynn Tudisco, Nichals Grant Tudisco, Macey Danielle Mathis, Adam Jameson Purdy, Gregory Chandler Beason, Alex Christine Beason, Lana Grace Beason and Evan Michael Beason; one great-grandchild Anna Riley Zarn; and sister, Louise Tharp. Kilgroe Funeral Home directed the service.
