He had sons Vachel Lankford brn abt 1804 White Co TN,d,AL,and my GGfather Silas Lankford brn abt 1812 TN. Thomas's wife was a Phebe,Pheobe last name unk. Was Phebe Native American,and was she from NC?. Was Thomas the same Thomas Langford who was in Madison Co AL abt 1809,and had possible brothers named John,and Benjamin Langford or was John,and Ben his uncles from VA?. I do believe that Vachel Lankford lived in St Clair AL abt 1830,1860's,and had children who went to MS,LA,and east TX. Vachel married a Sally Seitz brn NC,daughter of Andrew Seitz,and Mary Magdalina Bost. Silas Lankford married Mary Seitz,daughter of William B Seitz,and Elender Choat,Choate.
