This obituary was in the St. Clair Times, St. Clair Co., AL., Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006. Donnie Brown Ragland--Funeral service for Donnie Brown, 53, were Tuesday, Oct. 3, at 2 p.m. at Usrey Chapel with the Rev. John Meir officiating. Internment was at St. Clair Memorial Gardens in Pell City. Mr. Brown died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006. He was well loved by all that knew him. He was a thoughtful person who loved to help people. He enjoyed watching sports, especially when it came to Alabama football and NASCAR, and he had a passion for playing the guitar. He is survived by three sisters, Linda Lewis, Glenda Brasher and Deborah (Jimmy) Keener; one brother, Ralph Brown; and a host of nieces and nephews. Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City directed the services.
