This obituary was in the St. Clair Times, St. Clair Co., AL., Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006. Charles T. "Cowboy" Allen Odenville--Funeral service for Charles T. "Cowboy" Allen, 79, were Monday, Oct. 9, at 10 a.m. at Kilgroe Chapel. Interment was in Popes Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Allen died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006. He was a member of the Eastlake Masonic Lodge #480 for 50+ yrs., and retired from Alabama Power after 36 yrs. He is survived by two daughters, Linda Lynn (Ronnie) Mitchell of Enterprise and Shirley (Lewis) Brown of Odenville; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City directed the services.
