This obituary was in the St. Clair Times, St. Clair Co., AL., Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006. Bettye L. Martin (picture in paper) Cropwell--Funeral services for Bettye L. Martin, 76, were Saturday, Sept. 30, at 2 p.m. at Kilgroe Chapel. Mrs. Martin died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, O. Milton Martin. She is survived by two daughters, Donna (Tommy) Nicholson of Cropwell and Judy (Harold) Allred of Guntersville; two sisters, Josie Johnson of Pensacola, FL and Mary M. Goodwin of Memphis, TN; brother, Robert Goodwin of Memphis, TN; two grandchildren, Nicki Zuccala of Birmingham and Stephen Porter of Anniston; and two great grandchildren, Beloved Katlyn Fricker of Pell City and Phillip Zuccala of Birmingham.
