Do you know of Allen, Champ, Robert, Thomas & Peter LANGFORD? Or Berry LANGFORD? the book Sketches About Langfords, 1632-1980 by George Shealy Langford, I just read this about Joseph W. LANGFORD -- His great grandfather was Champ LANGFORD who had sons named Allen, Champ, Robert, Thomas and Peter. Some of these settled in northern Alabama and raised families. Do you know anything about Allen, Champ, Robert, Thomas or Peter LANGFORD? Or Berry LANGFORD? The book says Allen LANGFORD died in Hall County, Georgia in 1857. Bill: I think Mary Caroline is the Polly Caroline in Champ's will. Not sure why she is not in the bible record. Tom Tom Sellars, CPA HEREFORD, LYNCH, SELLARS & KIRKHAM, P.C. Who is Mary Caroline LANGFORD? She's 30 years old in the 1850 U.S. census of the Elizabeth LANGFORD household in St. Clair County, Alabama. Elizabeth LANGFORD was the widow of Champ LANGFORD. But Mary Caroline is not listed as one of Champ and Elizabeth's children in Champ's will or in his family bible. Who is she? Who were her parents? Why is she in St. Clair Co., AL in Elizabeth's household in the 1850 U.S. census? Bill Allen <misterbill@pdq.net>
