Thank you for posting this , I will have to call my great uncle, Bill Burttram in Springville, as he and his wife attend this same church and we may be related. I am sorry to hear of her passing. She certainly had a wonderful life from what is written about her. I just visited there last August at this cemetery for the first time, since I live in Florida and visited the grave of my Grandfather Gann and all of my Burttram/Brooks ancestors buried there. My Great Great Great Grandmother was Sarah Elizabeth McCullough Burttram. Thank you again, Linda ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, June 27, 2006 6:22 PM Subject: [ALSTCLAI] Obit: Zelda Virginia McCullough Kirkland--6-17-2006 > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/YS.2ADE/653 > > Message Board Post: > > I am NOT related to this family this obit was in the St. Clair Times St. > Clair Co., AL on June 22, 2006 > > Springville--Zelda Virginia McCullough Kirkland, age 86, passed away > Saturday, June 17, 2006. How can I get information about deeds registered in St. Clair County? Champ LANGFORD sold land in Misouri to Berry LANGFORD on 4 Mar 1829. It was registered in St Clair County on 19 Mar 1829. And I've been told Champ also sold land in Illinois to Berry. It too was probably registered in St. Clair County. The Bureau of Land Management said Champ was involved in a land transaction in 1833 and his wife Elizabeth was involved in land transactions in 1839 and 1840. But I'd be interested in any land transactions registered in St. Clair County involving the LANGFORDs (Champ, Elizabeth, Berry) or Robert REED (Elizabeth's father). Bill Allen <[email protected]>
