When Ancestry acquired Rootsweb, they guaranteed that it would always be free. And it is. However, the way they were running the lists, they were mostly dying. I think this move will be good. Groups.io is modern and easy to use. We still have a private group there, as we do here, and have the option to link a Facebook page to us if we want.
