Is Schaldag possibly the German name given to the complimentary dates? -Dave Yes Dave, it refers to the 5 (or 6 every leap year) "jours supplementaires", introduced into the Revolutionary calendar to complete the 360 days up to 365 (and quarter) of the year. In German, the 29th February is called "Schalttag" (Schaldag with Alsatian accent), and a leap year is a "Schaltjahr". Etienne
