I hope someone can help me to understand what the pages I found on this site: http://www.archives.cg68.fr/Services_Actes_Civils.aspx I found the image of the marriage document of my great-grandparents Gregor DIETSCH and Catharine DOLLMAN. It can be found underWahlbach marriages for the year 1873-1882. I believe the entry is #1 - and the image itself is on page 15. However, on following pages (16-18), there appears to be some sort of document that was presented for clarification of *something*. And this is what I especially would like to find out what it is about. I believe everything is written in French of which I only have a very rudimentary understanding (from high school more years ago that I care to think about! LOL). I do not understand everything that is in the original document but have been able to figure out a little of it so if I could figure out more of that, I would also be very appreciative! I do know that once a few words are understandable, it becomes easier to locate pertinent documents, even those written in German, of which I have no knowledge at all! For those not yet familiar with this site, it is wonderful! I love that what you *get* are images of the actual documents and not transcriptions. The *downside* of course is that they are written in French or German (depending on who controlled Alsaceat the time) and of course the script - need I say more???? Thank you in advance for any help.
