    3. Hi Listers, just to add to Ewald and other 's posts that SCHAWANG might well be a French name "germanized". An ending "-ong" or "-ang" might often refer to a French nasal vowel ("on", "an").     3. Thanks for this info. I know I have searched w/o the 1st A (SCHWANG) but never thought of trying without the G. I'll try that.
