Hello from Prague, I am researching my family in A-L, having difficulties to trace it. The name and the town of my ancestor was misspelled when he reached his new home is Westfalia/ Germany, he was called Nikolaus GÖDIN(G) from Linzingen in "german Lorrain" (born around 1735). Now I found the name CUTIN/ GOUDIN mentioned in Hellering, Troisfontaine and Bilsprich. There are different spelling of this surname: GUTIN(G), GOUTING, COUTIN, KOTTIN(G).
