I have Christmanns in my family from Huetschenhausen, Pfalz, which at the time was ruled by Bavarian Kings. Pfalz was also called Bavarian Rhineland, so people considered themselves Bavarian even though they were Palatinates. **************Start the year off right. N. Jones, Do you have any information on Daniel Chrisman born about 1705 and arrived at Philadelphia, PA Sept 5, 1730. on the ship Alexander and Ann with 130 Palatines. We do not know for sure if his wife came along. Some say he had a son Felix that came along. But we have found no proof. We think his father was Georg born in the late 1600's. All I need is the name of his parents and where he came from. Thank you in advance. Have you checked the records from the Church of the Latter Day Saints? Put in Daniel Chrisman born about 1705, I pull up one that has a child named Felix. It says he was born in Leidig, Buring, Germany (not familiar with that town maybe it should be Bayern or Baden), it gives his parents and children. Not sure if this is the one you are looking for but you should be able to ge the film from Utah and find lots more. I have had excellent luck with the records from the church, once you locate the area and send for the film you family grows real fast.
