I put "Societe' Alsacienne de Secours Mutels" [in quotes] into Google and got a number of hits on parts of the phrase. One at the bottom "Les Commemoratives" http://perso.numericable.fr/semoeric/LES%20ASSOCIATIVES.htm also had "translate this page" next to it. It show numerous commemorative medals. 2nd row, far right medal states "Societe de Secours Mutuel" which translated to "Rescue Society Mutuel". If you mouse over the photo it will show the reverse of the medal. Hope this helps.
